The Telegram bot, and how it pairs with the browser extension
You pick the FACEIT CS2 players you care about. When one of them finishes a match, you get a message. That is the whole idea. This page explains the bot, and what changes when you connect it to the dodged.it browser extension.
The @faceit_trackplayer_bot on Telegram alerts you usually within 30 seconds of a tracked player's match ending. Connect it to the extension and your browser and your chat share one list of players and one plan: the extension shows alerts on your desktop while the browser is open, and the bot reaches your phone at any time.
What the bot does
You track players in Telegram, and the bot watches their public FACEIT matches for you. It sends a message when:
- A tracked player finished a match: win or loss, the map, the score, that player's K/D and K/R, and buttons that open the match room and the profile.
- A tracked player was banned, with until when and why.
- A tracked player was unbanned.
- A tracked player changed their nickname.
Match alerts usually arrive within 30 seconds of the match ending. The bot also works in group chats, so a whole stack can share one list and get the same alerts.

The browser extension and the bot together
The dodged.it extension tracks players from inside your browser. You can use it without Telegram. If you also use the bot, connect the two, in either direction:
- From the extension: open the Plan section, press Connect Telegram, and confirm in Telegram.
- From the bot: send
/connectin a private chat with the bot, then enter the code it gives you in the extension.
Once they are connected:
- The browser and the chat share one list. Tracking or untracking a player in either place changes both.
- They share one plan.
- The extension shows desktop alerts while your browser is running. The bot alerts you on your phone at any time, browser open or not.
/connectionslists the connected browsers and/disconnectdisconnects them.
The free plan
Up to 3 tracked players alert for free, in the bot and in the extension. dodged.it Pro is not available yet. When it is, what it adds is unlimited players, all of them alerting. Alerts arrive at the same speed on every plan.
